What we delivered: Full technical production across three stages, with overnight transformation between two shows

We delivered the full technical production for PI Live and the Influencer Marketing Show, two flagship events hosted back-to-back at Old Billingsgate. The brief demanded high-end AV, creative staging and an overnight transformation between the shows, all for over 2,000 attendees a day.

The Challenge

Three distinct stages inside a Grade II listed venue, high-end AV and branding across all of them, and a full overnight turnaround to switch from PI Live to IMS, without the second morning's audience ever seeing the join.

The Get-In & Install

We worked with Hello Partner to design stage layouts and technical setups that maximised impact while respecting the venue's listed status.

Main stage. The keynote stage in the Grand Hall had a large LED backdrop on a raised platform for sightlines, driven by a Barco E2 for flexible PiP, with a Martin Audio PA, Yamaha control and Sennheiser 6000 wireless for premium audio.

Breakout stage. The "Pyramid Stage" sat inside the exhibition, built for strong branding with integrated AV including Martin Audio DD6 speakers and silent-disco headsets for overflow listeners.

Venue assessment. Old Billingsgate's architecture needed careful planning for rigging, power and sightlines, so we mapped access routes and technical positions for an efficient, compliant setup.

Show Days

The event spanned multiple spaces, needing precise coordination and responsive technical support throughout.

Main stage. The keynote ran 136 DigiLED panels, two Blackmagic URSA cameras and full IMAG, with Chauvet and Astera fixtures on an Avolites Tiger Touch II and MDG haze for atmosphere.

Pyramid stage. Chauvet R2 washes and Astera Lightdrops added branding accents, with two LED walls flanking the stage and silent-disco headsets letting standing delegates tune in without disrupting the exhibition.

Third stage. In Old Billingsgate's Well, an intimate stage ran a K-Array PA, Panasonic 12K laser projector, Yamaha control and a full Blackmagic camera package alongside the venue's existing AV.

The Overnight Turnaround

Both events were delivered flawlessly, with the overnight transformation between PI Live and IMS showing our ability to manage complex logistics under tight timelines.
