What we delivered: AV production, lighting, themed build and full logistics for a large-scale party transformation

For the 10th consecutive year, we partnered with Greene King on their annual office Christmas party. The 2023 brief was ambitious: turn the ground floor of the office into a Moulin Rouge meets Greatest Showman venue, complete with immersive decor, entertainment and full AV production.

The Challenge

Transform a working office into a theatrical party venue for one night, then take it all out again. A fully themed build, extra capacity outside, premium lighting and AV, and the logistics to move four tonnes of kit in and out cleanly to schedule.

The Get-In & Build

Our team designed a concept that captured the glamour and theatricality of the theme, planning every detail from props to draping.

Venue styling. We installed 150m of black starcloth over the office walls with crushed velvet drops for luxury, and ceiling draping to lower the height and create a more intimate room.

Props and scenic. Feature pieces, a chaise longue, silhouette panels and a rearing circus horse, complemented the Moulin Rouge and Greatest Showman aesthetic.

External structures. An 18m x 9m marquee added space outside, alongside food stalls, external facilities and generators to support the numbers.

Party Night

The transformation demanded precision and speed, with our team managing every part of the install from scenic to technical.

Lighting and AV. Over 70 lighting fixtures built dynamic effects and kept the venue well-lit and on-brand, with a VIP entrance styled in red carpet, chrome posts and ropes to set the tone on arrival.

Logistics. More than 650 individual items, over four tonnes, were scanned out of the warehouse, with a team of seven technicians handling install and derig to schedule.

The room. Immersive decor, themed entertainment and premium AV combined into a vibrant, festive atmosphere for the guests.

The night was a resounding success, with Greene King praising the attention to detail, the seamless execution and the impact on staff engagement.
