What we delivered: Full AV production, lighting, audio and ground support for a large-scale live event

We were chosen as the AV supplier for Royal Quest III, a major New Japan Pro-Wrestling event at the Copper Box Arena. The brief called for a dynamic audiovisual setup that amplified the energy of the show for thousands of fans in the room and on broadcast.

The Challenge

A large-scale live show in an arena, lit and mixed for both the in-venue crowd and the broadcast feed, on a rig that had to go up fast, sit on ground support without blocking sightlines, and never miss a cue through a high-energy show.

The Get-In & Install

We assessed the Copper Box's infrastructure and planned a rigging solution that carried the lighting and audio without obstructing sightlines, curating the kit for maximum impact and reliability.

Lighting. The rig ran 12x PAR64 IWBs, 12x ETC Source Four, 8x Chauvet Rogue R2X washes and 12x Elation Platinum Beam 5R Extremes on an Avolites Quartz desk, dramatic effects with the ring perfectly lit for live and broadcast.

Audio. 12x L-Acoustics KARA line array with SB18 and SB28 subs on LA8 amps, run from a Yamaha QL1, with radio mic channels for clear commentary and announcements.

Rigging. A 12x12x8m ground support package gave safe, efficient mounting, all delivered in a 44T artic on a mapped schedule.

Show Days

The show needed precise coordination and responsive support, delivered by nine of our technicians and six local crew across install, testing and live operation.

Lighting and audio. Cues were programmed to enhance entrances, pacing and crowd engagement, with audio calibrated so every announcement and music cue landed throughout the arena.

Rigging and safety. Everything was installed to strict safety standards with redundancy on the critical systems, monitored throughout the event.

Live support. Our technicians operated the lighting and audio desks live, responding to real-time changes and keeping transitions clean between segments.
