What we delivered: Full AV production, camera and recording across a main stage and two breakout rooms

We delivered the full AV production for BaM Live 2023, IABM's combined conference and awards show across three rooms: seamless video, lighting and audio, plus content management and recording handed over before derig.

The Challenge

A main stage and two breakout rooms running in parallel, all needing flexible image control, high-quality multi-camera recording and robust audio for panels, with every recording captured and handed to the client before the rig came down.

The Get-In & Install

We worked with IABM to design a technical plan that maximised sightlines and engagement across all three spaces.

Main stage. A large LED backdrop on a raised platform improved sightlines, driven by a Barco E2 processor for flexible PiP layouts and dynamic playback.

Camera and recording. A three-point robotic camera system handled IMAG and ISO recording, each camera capturing separate channels for the edit alongside a fully redundant vision-mixed feed.

Lighting and audio. Complementary lighting and a high-spec PA rounded out the main room, with the breakout spaces kitted with multiple radio mics for large panels.

Show Days

The show ran across three rooms with our team managing transitions and technical delivery throughout.

Main stage. The LED screen and Barco E2 gave flexible image control while IMAG kept every delegate in clear view, robotic cameras covering every angle with ISO recording for later edits.

Breakout support. Each breakout had its own tailored AV, camera capture for session recording and audio capture, with technicians on hand for responsive support during panels.

Content management. An on-site content operator offloaded raw recordings to client drives before derig, guaranteeing rapid access to assets.

The Derig & Handover

BaM Live 2023 ran without a hitch, with IABM praising the technical quality and the value of the ISO recordings and rapid turnaround.

Recordings were handed over complete before the rig came down, and the delivery strengthened a partnership that carried into the next edition.
