We delivered the AV production for Pall-Ex's annual awards night, transforming the Hilton Birmingham Metropole into a high-impact celebration. From the main stage to the reception, we combined technical precision with creative flair across every zone.
The Challenge

The Get-In & Install
Our production team scoped the event, designed the AV layout and prepped the kit for a high-impact, reliable delivery.
Stage and set. A 10m x 4m carpeted stage with large steps and a branded acrylic lectern, a premium platform for presenters and winners.
Lighting. Over 30 moving heads, 24 uplighters and LED battens programmed for dynamic effects across the ballroom and reception.
Audio and screens. L-Acoustics Kara and XT series on Yamaha consoles for pristine sound, with dual Panasonic 10k laser projectors driving 14ft screens, plus glass autocue and repeater screens for presenter support.
Show Night
The Hilton Metropole became a vibrant awards venue with every AV element working in harmony from start to finish.
Lighting and effects. The fixtures built a celebratory mood, with sparkular effects adding drama on the key award moments.
Audio and presenter tools. Wireless and lectern mics, clickers and autocue kept transitions smooth and delivery confident.
Reception and façade. Lighting and sound extended into the drinks reception for a consistent feel, while Ayrton Perseo fixtures projected the Pall-Ex logo onto the hotel façade, a bold statement visible from afar.
The Derig
After the ceremony we struck cleanly and reviewed, with Pall-Ex praising the AV, the lighting design and the impact of the branding and production quality.
Carrying a single premium look from the building's exterior through to the stage is what lifts an awards night, and the delivery continues our role as their trusted AV supplier.
